Language reality and linguistics. The author considers the ąuestion of the boundaries of language and linguistics, referring to the so-called full scientific theory. In the complex hierarchical-network structure of this theory, one can distinguish three levels: the philosophical basis, the theoretical-methodological level, and the empirical part. The article focuses on the ontological and epistemologica/-axiological assumptions of the theory of language.
